You could change the headline to "I wasted 15 Euro trying to sue Ryanair when they refunded me anyway without any hassle"0

I suppose the answer to the question is did you get the 15 euros back as well as the £110.0

What you've actually had is your claim processed just like thousands of others.budgetflyer wrote: »You could change the headline to "I wasted 15 Euro trying to sue Ryanair when they refunded me anyway without any hassle"
Have either of you tried to get a refund out of Ryanair for the charges incurred because of the ash cloud ? I'm guessing not..
I got my money back so as far as I am concerned that is a win. "Without any hassle" is a complete joke! :rotfl:0 -
At the end of the day, good job getting your money back, it's a good link to the court system. I don't know why you're getting hassle, my comment was tongue in cheek, (apologies for any offense).
Nice to see someone get the right result, and hopefully we'll see a lot more here.0 -
Thanks Mikey - no problem, we had a bit of banter last night
but it does seem to have become overtly negative now.
Has the title been "sexed up" ? of course, we want as many people as possible to know that there is a last-ditch avenue available if you don't get any joy over the normal channels with Ryanair.
The Irish small claims system is cheaper to use than the UK equivalent but you have to balance that with the chance that Ryanair will contest the claim and you would need to travel to Dublin (on another Ryanair flight?) and I don't know yet if I will get my 15 euros back (along with the £110).
Thanks
