BA strike & flight cancellations

I have booked outbound and return flights to Lisbon on 27th May with BA through Lastminute.com. The outbound flights have been cancelled because of the strike but lastminute is saying they will only refund the outbound portion of the ticket. The cost though of re-booking just the outbound flight with another carrier at this late stage is more than I paid for both sectors. Does anyone know if BA or lastminute can do this & do I have any re-dress? I think that if I can't get the money back from them I should be able to claim back from my credit card vcompany but I think first the airling/travel co should refund the full amount.

Go on to BA.com and use Manage My Booking to get full details about what you're able to do. Regardless of the fact that you've booked through lastminute.com, the BA website will offer some advice.
