What to do with money for short term (6-8 months)

Options
Hi There,

Later in the year I will be selling my house and will not be looking to buy again untill early next year. From the sale I should have about £30K that I will need to put somewhere before I look to buy again.
Whats the best thing to do with the money in the meantime?

Thanks.

Safest and easiest thing to do - Would be to put the money is a High Interest Savings account.

    Egg Savings
    ING
    Bradford & Bingley
    Alliance & Leicester.

Also, you need to think about weather you want your interest paid annually or monthly - I prefer monthly ;)
  • I'm in a similar boat
[/B[BI know you can get 5.50% on your savings
(Egg and Nottingham "post it " 90 day notice a/c pay this rate)[/B][/B][/B]
Will let you know if I can find higher rate.
    TD ;)
  • Thanks guys, appreciate the advice.
