EMA & Income from private pension

Options
Does any one know if it is the net or gross income taken into account on income from a private pension & state pension, also have very small amount of savings so do they count interest on them as well?

As it is based on household income I'd presume it takes into consideration gross income as that is what student loans and most income assessed benefits are based on. But for a definitive answer you should call the EMA helpline or request an information pack

Thanks, I have just sent for an information pack.
Was trying to work out if granddaughter will be entitled with our pensions & small savings, also although she has lived with us for a few years now we are not her legal guardians and do not get any child benefit as her mother still insists on claiming that.
