Implantation Bleed?

Hi there, I'm Maire, 28, been ttc for about 8 months. Been long-time lurker on TTC/ preg threads.
I'm wondering if you can help me. I am aware it is likely to be wishful thinking but...
I usually have a regular as clockwork 31 day cycle. This month, I had bleed for two days (usually 5) then nothing, but was on expected day of CD1... Still too early to test. Don't want to get my hopes up too much but is it possible this could be implantation bleeding?
Have any of you had some bleeding then got a BFP?
Please share your experience of this with me...
Fingers humongously crosses, as ever!

I bled for two days when my period was due when I was first pregnant with my second daughter, who's now 12, so that was definitely an implantation bleed, so yes, it can happen - good luck.0

thanks!!! I'm not going to be too optimistic but it's encouraging to know that. !
According to my dates, I can test quite soon!

I did with this pregnancy, not trying by any stretch of the imagination
2 days of light bleeding on the Tuesday/Wednesday (although period was expected then it didn't seem like a period) then did a test on the Saturday which was positive0 -
Don't get your hopes up. The body/mind can be very cruel when you want something very badly. But I hope you are. Good luck. xx0

It can happen and does. If your period is due, maybe you should test? Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Was the bleeding light or as heavy as a regular period?
With my current pregnancy, I had over a week of bleeding around the time my period was due - mostly (sorry for TMI) dark spotting/bleed with a couple of days that were quite heavy. I think cases like mine are rare but it definitely does happen and first trimester bleeding itself is quite common.
Good luck!0 -
I had an unplanned pregnancy (only relevant in as much as I was taking bleeding as not pregnant so didn't look into it at all) and had implantation bleeding about 18 days after conception (approx when period would have been due). Looking back it was enough blood to think it was a light period (as it only lasted a few days). As I thought I had my period as normal I didn't test until a month later when I was getting pregnancy symptoms!
I wouldn't take it as a certain sign either way yet if I were you. Do a test when you can and go from there.0 -

I had a very light period when I was due, only lasted a couple of days though, the next week I started feeling odd and got my BFP)
