Hi
Want to sell my car & get the best possible price. Thing is it's had a few scrapes while I was learning (tight drive way, NCP car park turns, that kind of thing).
I keep seeing adverts for creams that polish away these minor scratches. Do they work? What's the best one? Don't want to spend money for a rubbish product, but will do it if it makes my car look better & improves the price.
Also - any tips for polishing over the scratches on the black wheel arch / bumpers of a basic model ka?
And - will it cost much & is it difficult to replace the silver hub caps? They're a bit kerbed.
REally: am not a VERY bad driver...

Not sure how old the Ka is, but a proffessional valet for around £100, would be money well spent.
Or if you're lucky enough to have one of these car hand wash services, that some of our enterprising european cousins seem to be opening, on every disused petrol station, you'll spend £30 & have the car looking like brand new!! They REALLY do a thorough job, around here (Luton)
& a set of wheel trims is a good idea, too - Halfords £30 - genuine Ford around double this price!! They just clip on/off, might need an old screwdriver to remove. & to keep them on, some plastic cable ties help. But don't forget to keep a blade/cutter, in the boot, to get the ties off again, if you have a puncture!

Puncture? That's what the AA are for!
But thanks for rest of advice - hope the thanks button worked0
