  • If its got out of date information on it, you need to call and tell them what to change. Maybe the person you spoke to didnt put the information thorugh correctly - theyre only human and mistakes happen. Best to check it out by ringing in.

hi i did phone and was told it was because it hadnt been proccessed yet and they would be sending out the award when it was proccessed.i was told they send these out because there a back log and they want to let people know that they are just waiting for the award to be fully proccesed.is that correct?
they said all my details where fine just that they not been fully put through yet.
  • Once youve completed your renewal, it should only be a few days before you recieve your award notice with all the new info on it. It IS a very time though, so i wouldnt say its overdue until 3 weeks have passed. Your new award should have generated by now, it just hasnt been sent out. Dont worry about it - this happens every year. If you want to double check, the advisor will be able to tell you what your new award is and what circs it is based on - if that puts your mind at rest, its worth half an hour on hold.

thanks for your advice but if that is the case why have i recieved a provisional notice after 2 weeks rather than a reward.when i phoned he didnt mention any thing about my new payments and circumstances.he jist said it hadnt been finalist as yet

    thanks again for your advice
  • Its simply the fact that there are approx 5 million renewals going through at the moment - the system has to prioritise some claims over others (and sometimes the prioritisation doesnt make sense). RARELY awards can get "stuck" which mean you wont get a new award notice following finalisation, but this doesnt happen a great deal in comparison to the number of claims in payment. Im sure yours will be fine, so dont worry about it. If you havent had a new award notice in the next couple of weeks, chase it up, but you should do. Unless your circumstances have change drastically, your payments wont change much either so there's little chance of being overpaid in the next couple of weeks.
