EMA & Income from private pension.

Does any one know if it is the net or gross income taken into account on income from a private pension & state pension, also have very small amount of savings so do they count interest on them as well?

Do you mean ESA not EMA?

I think it is gross income from Pensions which is counted, although I did not realise you could draw ESA and State Pension at the same time.

Can you clarify what you mean and where your income comes from?

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Hi, Sorry I don't think I was very clear, it is EMA for our grandchild who is living with us and staying on at school.

Ah right. Sorry, in that case I do not know the answer.

Someone will be along in the morning who does.
