What baffles me is if someone is veggie then it means they have chosen not to eat meat, more often than not for ethical reasons, I can respect that as everyone has a choice even if I disagree. Now what does baffles me is why if someone has cosen not to eat meat do they want to eat a product that is made to look like and taste like meat, can't they make their own food tastes and looks up.

On a second note I have always tried to ensure I make a veggie meal and using utensils and pans etc not used for meat for any veggie guests in respect of their views, so why can't veggies respect my views and make me a nice steak whan I visit them?
Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! For Caroline my Goddess.

As i said, I don't eat meat because I disagree with it ethically. I still like (or would like!) the taste of it. Not really sure why that is such a baffling concept. If i eat 'fake meat' i therefore get the taste (which i like) without the ethical nastiness. To be fair i eat far more meals without fake meats than with anyway.

Unless your 'views' mean that you must eat steak, and only steak, (or only meat) then that's a ridiculous comment. Humans are omnivores not carnivores, meat is not an essential part of a meal.

Also, I am vegetarian because I do not wish to contribute to the meat-producing machine, including financially. Thus I wouldn't buy meat for anyone, even if I wasn't going to eat it (in the same way that if you disagreed with say radical neo-nazis you wouldn't help fund them even if you weren't physically involved!!). And because I'm veggie, I wouldn't have the first idea how to cook meat, even if it was given to me to cook for someone else.

Thanks for making the effort for veggie friends anyway tho :)
