TK Makk had them in my local store yesterday £19.99.
Just checked and they have them online, think sizes are very limited though and you do need to pay £3.99 P&P.:hello:0 -
Hi,
I can see that this is a couple of months old, but didn't want to start a new thread when a lot has been covered already.
I want to buy Birkenstock Gizeh sandals for the summer. It's a first Birkenstock purchase for me.
A friend bought some for £21 at Costco recently. Does anyone knwo if Costco Watford have them in and if so what styles?
Thanks0 -
mine are a size smaller also, im a 5 and wear a size 4 in these, i have the toe post ones. The 5 was just far to big on me. I dont love them as much as everyone else seems t0. But i do prefer them with my jeans.... hope you get some0

In answer to my own post...NO! I went today but they only had the madrid style, which won't stay on my feet without driving me mad. Anyone know the cheapest place to buy the Gizeh style??
Thanks.0 -

I am addicted to shopping for a pair of these at the mo
I have read they come up big, is this true? Are they really really comfy and do the non toe post ones really 'flip flop' as in noisy flip flop noise and do they stay on well?
I've got 2 pair of original Birkenstocks (Gizeh) in different colours and 2 pairs of their Papillio sandals.
Bought the Papillio's in a summer sale last summer or summer before (Cherry print on white background and flower print on black background.
All of them I got at my normal size (4) and they fit fine, not too big or small. In fact, I wasn't even advised to get them bigger etc as some others have said. I've pasted a size guide below:-

The Papillos (which are slides) are a bit *clip clop* when you go up and down stairs as are the Gizeh's (cos they have a thong strap) but I haven't noticed them clip clopping generally on flat ground!
My mum has the 2 strap ones (which seem to strap at back/sides of heels/ankles) (can't see them on website) in a really pretty black or brown colour with metallic flowers. A friend of her's has a gorgeous pair of Papillios in a floral pattern which we didn't see here and were bought in South of France.
Overall they're terrific value, last ages (I mean AGES!) and though you probably have to send off for repairs due to sole I think worth it, I got my Papillios in a sale and paid full price for the Gizehs but quite happy with both the prices. I think my Papillos were half price.
Enjoy - mine are great, very comfy although with all sandals sometimes they do rub after a long day out.0 -

Sorry not to answer properly before but mine don't come up too big - but maybe best to check if your feet are narrow/wide etc, the non toe thong ones don't clip clop etc and very comfy etc.0
