I love my Birkenstocks! I'm a size 5 1/2 to 6 and I find the size 37 fits fine ( it's the Madrid style with just the one strap and no toe post.) I live in them all summer....

Hi, i also love my Birkenstocks! I am a size 6-6 1/2 and find the 38 fits me fine. I bought mine from very.com. Using a spend £60 and get £30 off on first order. Usually get mine from costco, but they did not have the colour and sizei wanted.
I always buy Gizeh ones now, after having these i cannot get on with Madrid ones. (Flip about too much)
Happy shopping! You will soon want them in very colour!!!
  • I absolutely love my Birkenstocks and live in them all spring/summer. I have now had numerous pairs but prefer the madrid. Personally I find the toe post not very comfy walking long distance especially if you have lots of downhill!
I have bought from various places depending on the colour you require, Ebay Stores can be a good place to save a few quid but familiarise yourself with the look of the footbed & what should be on it as there are fakes out there.

    Happy Birkenstock hunting:j

I absolutely love Birkie's - I have about 15 pairs. Some were bought from TX Maxx but most of them via QVC, for between £25-40. They sometimes have todays special value or one time only for birkenstocks. I need to go down half a size, normally a 4 and a half, but in birkenstocks I take a 4.

They are extremely comfortable and good for your feet. Occasionally the strap rub - but I just adjust accordingly and they are fine.

Birkenstocks are designed to cradle your feet to keep your posture aligned, so do NOT go down or up a size; they are supposed to fit as they are.... buy your normal size.

Please remember also they come in 2 widths. If you look at the "foot" picture on the insole, the black ones are narrow fitting, and the hollow- coloured ones are wide fitting.

I know it's a few weeks away yet but according to the QVC calendar I got with a recent order the today's special value on Mon 21st June is Birkenstock so hopefully it will interest you guys.

They also had a full table of them in Costco Glasgow earlier today.

I have 3 pairs of Birki's. They do come up big, I'm a 5 and have a 37(4) and there's still room to spare;)

I personally prefer the Madrid and find the Gizeh hard to walk in and they give me cramp, but that's just me. ;)

Hi, they sell Birkenstocks in Barratts if there's one near you or Jones the boot seller. I have been recommended to get some by a podiatrist but I am looking for ones that go round your ankle and as yet haven't found them. Will carry on the hunt...

    IThey have these: http://www.birkenstock.co.uk/index.php?m=catalogue&a=vw_prodlist&pgr_pgrid=13

on the Birkenstock website, they may be exclusive to the website or own brand stores but check QVC who sometimes also have exclusives. TK Maxx sometimes gets them in but I think its like most of the other stores: they tend to get the basics in not the more unique styles.

Office, Poste Mistress and Schuh have them in too but again, I'm not sure on the ranges.

Try looking forthe 'Kairo' design. It's a toe post with an ankle strap, they're one of the ones I'd like to add to my collection!:D

Amazon have them for around £29 at the mo, which is about the same price I've seen them for on the (very) rare occasion I've seen them in TK Maxx.
