I recieved a letter over the w/e that i'm going to be charged £35 for a returned D/D just because i put the money in a day late.
I just phoned LloydsTSB and said why am i being charged? due to new legislation you cannot charge, and i can reclaim 6 years of charges back, she was like we can charge, where did you hear this nonsense from.
What should i do, in all honesty if they waived this i would have been happy, as i'm struggling at the mo and they say they're taking this £35 on the 1st of sept.

There is no new legislation saying that they cant charge for missed payments but you can attempt to reclaim the charges back yourself.
