Sorry to have caused such confusion...I'm still trying to wrap my head around it myself :-)

I have a reply from itv that reads:
There is now a limit of 5 entries per platform per phone number on ITV competitions.
This means viewers can enter each competition 5 times via phone, 5 times via SMS, 5 times via red button and 5 times online per phone number used.

I take that to mean yes it is possible to enter a landline number and mobile without disqualification.

I wish they had just said yes you can or no you can't but...hay ho...I might start entering my mobile number aswell :-)

I think it means you can enter via text message five times
but I don't think you could use your mobile number five times when entering online if you'd already used your landline number online?
