Stamp duty threshold should be £200k for everyone campaign

    I believe that stamp duty should be tiered, like income tax.

    It is ridiculous that £1 over the threshold results in SD on the whole amount, instead of just the part above the threshold.

    Agreed. Works like that in Australia. You only pay the higher rate on the amount over the threshold. There are about 5 ever higher bands.

    FTB's get their stamp duty paid up to about $400k I think (although this varies with the political wind of course!)
