Hi , Does anyone know what happened with the discount voucher magazine zing? it seems to have gone without a trace , I'm not too bothered though I had enough discounted shopping to more than make up for the £9 payment made. Just wondering though if anyone knew what happened . cheers shrewdal

  • It seems like ages ago that I had my last copy. I subscribed but they never cashed my cheque for my subscription.

  • I subscribed and got 2 mags out of them. They kept telling me to stick with them as they were having teething troubles. I did stick with them and now they've done a runner! I've e-mailed them too a few months back and got no reply, yet they had replied to me on previous occasions.

I guess we will just have to chalk it up to experience. I wish I'd listened to other MSErs and asked for a refund.

Edit: Just to say I have e-mailed them yet again but I don't hold out much hope.

Maybe if enough people email them they will refund everyone's money? It's worth a shot.

I phoned them up a couple of month ago and after 2 weeks I did get a refund. I think they ignore e-mails.
  • Thanks for all the help. I'll keep you all updated once I get a response. (Will try and phone them as last resort)
  • I had forgotten about Zing until I saw this thread.

I have just telephoned the number on the website 0845 226 0801.

A man answered "Red Apple". I asked him what had happened to Zing magazine. He said it's been pulled from publication for a few months and will be relaunched again soon. He said he would put me through to the Zing department.

A man answered "Zing Magazine". Told him I had subscribed last year but had not had a magazine since April (Issue 6). He said there had been a delay between issues. I asked for a refund and he said he would request a refund from the Accounts Department and a cheque will be issued within the next 21 days.

He also said I would be sent a complimentary copy of the next magazine.
