Damage to lawn before completion

I would gather all the rubbish and junk from my house, load it in the back of my car and throw it in the skip.
In the middle of the night, of course.
That'll learn him.0 -
What would you do?
I am due to complete on my purchase on Friday 28th May. Yesterday I drove past the house I am due to buy - the vendor has got a skip sat on the front lawn!
Now I'm not a gardening expert but sure that's going to kill the grass underneath?
Should I ignore it and hope the grass grows back or should I contact the estate agent/solicitor and kick up a fuss?
Your advice is appreciated!!
Are you a first time buyer by any chance? Trust me a bit of yellow grass will pale into insignificance besides the problems homeownership can bring. :rotfl: If you think this is important I'd suggest you continue to rent and leave the stress of burst water tanks, central heating failure and neighbours from hell to your landlord.
It will cost you more in solicitors fees raising a dispute than it will to get it returfed. That is assuming the grass dies, the skip would have to be in place a good while before the grass was killed completely. Your new next door neighbours may be friends of the vendors - do you really want to get their backs up?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Please tell me your having a laugh!!
If he'd dug up the garden and covered it in concrete, then sure make a deal out of it - but the guy has stuck a skip on the grass ( which will grow back - last time I checked anyhow) to get rid of all the cr*p , rather than leave it there.
jeez - some people:rotfl:0 -
He's probably put it there to flatten the bumps where he buried the bodies.
only joking! For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0 -
When you leave YOUR house, paint the word C O C K in huge letters on your front lawn with weed killer. It won't really help, but you might feel better for passing it on.
Seriously... DON'T.0 -

Should I confess now to my best friend and I writing our names in bleach on the 'nasty' neighbours front lawn when we were small?
I don't think they could read it but we were petrified when the grass started looking poorly in the affected areasEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Too honest that is your problem. You could have written the name of your worst enemy ... :rotfl:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
