i claim carers allowance cos i look after my elderly mum it is my only income.
i live with my partner who works i wondered if i could claim a discount on council tax

Why has this been posted for a second time?
You cannot get council tax reduction purely on the basis of claiming Carers Allowance.
If you OH is on a low income, then could could look into making a claim for benefit on that basis
