Hi guys,
I've been sent a form to fill in which is an .xslm file.I tried opening it with openoffice but an error comes up saying unable to load associated objects. The form does appear if I use microsoft works spreadsheet but there's words missing and the boxes are not working properly.I'm probably doing something obviously wrong but I need help.
What programme do I use to open and use this xslm file? Thanks in advance.

You'll need Excel 2003 + Compatibility pack or Excel 2007 to open and edit it.
Or if you just want read only you can use the Excel viewer plus the compatibility pack which are both free. But you won't be able to fill the form in using this, just open it.
.xslm files are macro-enabled Excel files so that's why it won't work in Works/OpenOffice as there are features to the file that are specific to Excel.0 -

I would email the sender and ask them to save the file as Excel 97-2003 format and send it again. Hope that helps.0
