no jsa for6 weeks now bank charges galore

I have been on jsa for 6 weeks with no payments they just keep sayingit will be sorted next week
But now ive no money the bank has charged me
Is there a way of getting this money back OH yes and getting my JSA

Are you recieving a sanction? I would say talk to your bank about the charges, if its your first time they may let you away with it. Its not JSAs fault these charges have happened, if you knew you had no money you could of stopped any standing orders/direct debits etc. JSA surly wont give you the charges back

I'm assuming OP means that he/she signed on 6 weeks ago but the claim hasn;t been processed yet. Mine took getting on for 2 months too

mine and my OHs claim took about 7 weeks to sort out

the best thing to do is keep on at them, phone them every day if you have to, tell them you will go to the CAB and the local papers if its not sorted

and get a crisis loan so you wont get any more bank charges

I'd have a look at this for reference. Maybe even worth while you considering this action now depending on how your bank respond to refunding stopping the charges.
