Am I being too conservative ?

Hi
Just after a few thoughts / advice from any members
I bought my first house (in an ok area) in 2000.
Basically I've now got approx £200,000 equity (and only 4 years left on the mortgage) due to price rises and mortage overpayments
My question is should I be looking to make the next move up the property ladder. eg A house for approx 300,000 - 325,000 meaning that I'll have a £100,000 mortgage.
I'm probably a bit conservative (hence the overpayments to bring the mortgage down ASAP) but I'm not sure if I'm being too conservative by not planning the next "big" move
Any thoughts are appreciated

personally, i wouldn't move for the sake of it. i would prefer to live mortgage free and live the high life than having a big house to rattle in!0
