Please help MSE test revamped tool: Premium Bond Probability Calculator

Hi folks,
We've been workiing on a big upgrade to our Premium bond Calculator. As well as a really funky facelift (hopefully you'll agree?!), we've now displayed the results in what is a hopefully much more user-friendly way, and added a second calculation (the right hand column) which lets bond holders see how lucky they have been so far.
It's now pretty much finished (we hope!), so anybody has five minutes to have a play with it, especially to find any bugs or glitches, or just let us know what you think, that would be fantastic. Here's the link:

Please feedback below any of the bugs you find, and anything else you want to say
Thanks folks

Looking good really builds on what was a very useful toll already
Well done MSE0 -
Someone has an awful lot of spare time on their hands??
Nice colours though.Not Again0 -
Mine tells me I would win NOTHING in one year!
Bit cruel!I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.
That also means I cannot share in any profits from any decisions made!;)0 -
Looks good. Not entirely surprised to see the £1 premium bond I was given at birth has a less than stellar chance of ever winning anything!0

Hi Dan
It looks great the chalkboard look is very user friendly, could not find any bugs as such but have to say I have always thought this tool is totally misleading and I think there should be a greater emphasis but on the tool to get the point across that it is purely a "luck" based system people really need to understand and appreciate this, as said to me the tool is very misleading.............
but very well designed well done"You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0 -
Got some premium bonds 32 years ago and never won anything on either of them. :rotfl:A fool may give advice but the one who takes it is the bigger fool.0

I have got £1300 (win nothing in a year), but £1400 would give something.
It's quite depressing now compared to the graph. It would certainly dissuade me from buying them. I got £1200 earlier this month having looked at the old style (as I needed to put it away and wanted to have some fun rather than boring savings)
Can you put on the NOTHING message how much you would need to have to start winning (as in average luck) for that time period?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

To be honest I think the reason it is depressing is because those are the results, not because of how we portray it - the truth is on 50% or more of people will win nothing over a year in your situation.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.
