Should Argos have its own sub board?

Comments

  • I've voted yes because Argos devours the board, and other bargains can be missed. My concern however is missing the RO bargains when they begin 'properly' as I doubt I would check the Argos board very often.
  • Surely we need two new Argos boards, one for talking about bargains, and one for rabbitting on about nothing in particular. :)

    YES vote from me.
I go along with Edinburgh Lass.
The Argos Thread evolved in a unique way. I hold my hands up to "ocasionley" going off topic a little and must admit had to think hard on some posts for something vaguely argos related to justify my posts. BUT the result was people helped me, I helped others (which actualy feels good) and theres a lot of people I now consider friends who i have never met.
Also the thread was genuinely friendly, ok plenty of banter, but nothing nasty in any way that I can recall. Theres more than enough hassle and nastiness in life, so anything that is so full of Genuine niceness should only be encouraged! ........ Ok of my "virtual" soap box. it strangely tastes the same as a "virtual" xmas dinner :)
Nope.... Still cant think of owt interesting to put here.

I'm glad this has been done, because it has got so big now and really does deserve a home of its own. However, I agree with Cactus Jack that there is a danger of missing the RO bargains when they really get going. Perhaps this could be got round by a sticky 'Argos Alert' being posted on the Grabbit board at the request of those in the know?

    What do you think?

    Hi,

My thoughts, for whatever they are worth, is that we should have a section for ALL of the stores that come up with frequent bargains, such as Boots, Ebuyer, Argos Etc.

Call it 'Shop Clearance or 'Shop Specials' or something similar.

Not everyone has easy access to Argos and many of their bargains are 'collect only' so you will limit the number of visitors to an Argos explicit thread, I feel.

Anyone else got thoughts on this suggestion?

As for the chat on the Argos thread, how about starting a new thread called 'Ah Goss!!':)

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
