Another Tesco Glitch? 2 Mr Men Inline scooters for £10 or £7.96 (with Quidco)

Thanks OP just picked up the order which I placed for a scooter+ in the night garden trike , the box has 2 scooters instead and the trike was missing, when asked for assistance the SA took the extra scooter & checked and said probably one more box to be delivered to me is missing and got my box, so there is miss shipping happening probably. I'm happy as I received what I ordered

I have just rang my sister tonight happen to mention had she opened her scooter yet as I was going to offer to swap my blue for her pink she said no its still in the back of the car in its box as she doesn't go on these threads she wasn't aware about whats been happening go and check there is probably 2 in box sure enough 1 pink 1 blue now she feels bad as she kicked up a fuss I said it was there fault they should have opened the box and checked before she left when 1 was apparently missing so she has now got her order and £5 return. But I am still gutted as I ordered before her and yet they didn't fufil my order and there is obviously major problems picking these up in store as sa don't seem to be doing their job properly

do the scooter boxes have handles on them to carry as i've got to get the bus to get mine tomoz and dont fancy lugging a big box around (i ordered 2) xxx

Yeah they do have handles, so you'd have to take them out of the big cardboard box to carry them like that. They're fairly heavy but suppose if you distribute the weight evenly it's a bit better!

Collected my Scooter today:j The box did not come with handle. Box says 12.5 Kg. May be for easiness you can strip out the cardboard box and carry the scooters only

Both my scooter boxes have handles on the top - just the cardboard box they arrived in didn't.

It took an hour at CS desk to collect mine (well 55mins).
I had ordered 1 @ £10, then found I could get 2 for same amount on an old account where the code worked, so re-ordered 2 more @ £10 + Quidco.
So yesterday when I collected, without accepting first order I said I'd like a refund on it and take the 2nd order.
Sounded simple to me! After 40mins I was near to tears. 3 assistants couldn't do a refund on 1st order and couldn't contact HO.
Got there in the end.
My grandson is due midday and we've put it together for him.
I'm impressed with the quality. Very good value.

Ordered mine shortly after OP post. Collected today, got SA to open box - one blue one only (also ordered pink). He couldn't get through to HO so is getting back to me later. Bit annoyed but not overly as my DD will be just as happy with the Mr Men one I think. Long as I get a refund.

Had a call from Tesco on Saturday to say the first order I placed could not be fulfilled as due to a stock error they only had blue scooters(I ordered one of each), but the 2nd order I placed(as forgot the quidco code) was fulfilled. Not had time to get items yet but fingers crossed I get what I ordered x
