So when did the Telegraph become responsible for creating the budget icon7.gif

I said i had read somewhere, no one knows until the 22nd of june, this was just a article i read, we all know they are changing how capital gains is going to be worked out, but we need to see when the finer details will be made, ive heard it might be worked out on what rate of income tax you pay.

And another thing they may change it and it might not come into affect until 2011, no one knows whats going to happen a lot of people are saying this is going to happen or thats is going to happen.

I personally think they will have something in it that reward long term investors, but thats just my opinion.

Wasn't it back in the 70's that LL's sold up due to the rent act and the knock on effect was less properties on the market to rent out and so prices shot up and short term lets came in which was the birth of all the issues we have now, interesting to see what the market will be like in 2 years time.

I don't really know much about the Buy To Let market, but how are all these landlords going to be able to sell quickly to try and beat the tax rise if they've all got sitting tenants. Isn't there some protection for tenants?

I don;t believe you will see all landlords selling up.
Certainly there is justification for some, but not all.

Those that do have tenants will likely have until april next year to sell, so plenty of time for those that want and their tenants to be out or the assured tenancy timeframe.
