Most people don't even set their brightness and contrast correctly. The majority of people wont see a difference with HD and dont care beyond bragging rights.

looking at the spec on the MIRAI TV i cant see that it has an "hdmi" INTERFACE which i think might be neede for futureproofing

Are you sure that is the right link or model, as the tv on that link is a HD tv.

yes that is the model number on the back of the tv but it doesnt have the hd port on the back of the tv so i presume the spec on the link has been put on wrong

and yes it is wall mountable

well my tesco's didn't have it for £350, they had a goodmans 26" hd version for £499. Guess i missed it.
  • This is now 279 at my local tesco but i got one for free with a rnr and i feel i was ripped off, picture is absolutely awful
  • I'm interested in using a screen such as this with my media centre pc.

However, my pc's desktop runs at 1280x1024, so would that work with an LCD running at 1366 x 768, or would I lose approx 300 pixels on the vertical height? I'd hate to buy something this expensive only to find it's not suitable for use with a pc....
if i had known then what i know now
