A little more expensive, but worth it for anyone considering HDTV

Most people don't even set their brightness and contrast correctly. The majority of people wont see a difference with HD and dont care beyond bragging rights.
    2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.
  • Did they have any smaller sizes? Looking for a 15" one for MILs kitchen.
    Thanks

I just thought for the sake of an extra £50, you at least have a sort of future proof TV.
I know what you mean about pictures though, it doesn't really help when most stores display awful pictures on their TVs!!!
It annoys me, especially when looking at standard definition pictures on HD ready TVs - I'm sure these people aren't really bothered if they sell them or not!!
Oh, and another thing with the one at micro direct - it's 27" aparently so you get an extra inch too :)

  • In my local co-op they're selling Cello 32" LCD HD Ready TV's for £449.
