    Hi Peas

I am sympathetic to your situation, but you need a reality check about your finances.

    1) You are not willing to ask for support from the husband but you are from the state?

You can get support via the CSA and they can do all the contact.

    2) Your house is rented out and getting a income of £400 per month, but you have a mortgage payment of £1100 a month or £800 with interest paid.

Its not workable. I can't see a option of you keeping it while living on benefits.

I think you need to prioritise what you want in your new life, stability and away from ex works, keeping the house probably does not.

    Good luck.

I agree, and I would also question what is going to happen to the tenants currently in the property.

Hope everything is ok Vader, you have been missed! ;)

If the house is rented out then no you wont get any help with paying the mortgage. That would only be payable if you were living in the house.
And you wont be entitled to income support if you are getting £400 per month rent from the house. Can I ask why your mortgage is £1100 but you only charge £400 rent?

Not to mention what effect the rental income has on some benefits.

And thanks for that. Been very busy with my work!
