Where to get a pet dog/

:rotfl::rotfl:You'll be looking on your own soon enough, up in the middle of the night when your OH is in bed, watching the doggie !!!!!!, that's what these rescues do to get us hooked, they get these people to post links to entice us into their seedy world of doggie !!!!!!! There's no escape, I'm thinking of setting up a support group, as I too need my daily fix!:rotfl::rotfl:It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Its so funny because I looked at that site as I went to that kennel a few weeks ago to check it out for our rescue poundies and I wanted to see how the first one sent there was doing (she has been rehomed
) and the thing is, I said to OH the other day, if we had another dog it would have to be a girl and a border and I would call her LOLA. Now is that a sign or what!!
But I have to be sensible and with Ralphies disability its quite a job taking two of them everywhere let alone another one

Some of the smaller rescues are well worth speaking to, they try to obviously match the right dog up with the right family, that's always the goal but sometimes they don't get too tangled in red tape, regardless of the reasons for ongoing visits/walks etc being fundamentally a good reason.
Mayhew Animal Home are in London and worth a call I'd think and rescues such as All Dogs Matter also would be worth a call.
All contact info for them is on https://www.dogsblog.com under their different rescue sections.
