help searching for a new laptop

Hi Does anyone own a Compaq CQ61-435 laptop. I'm thinking of buying one from Comet, it's £399 but can get a discount so it would be £375.

I need a laptop to have at least intel Pentium, and must have a built in mircrophone and webcam which this one does.

Just wondered if this was a good laptop or is there better for under £400k?

    I don't really want a refurbished laptop - CAN YOU RECOMMEND A LAPTOP THAT MIGHT BE GOOD FOR GENERAL EMAIL, BATTERY LIFE, ETC. LOOKING REALLY AT AN INTEL PENTIUM AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD THESE ARE THE BEST - CAN ONLY GO TO £400.
