what is the start meter reading?
    what tariff are you on?
  • i have no idea about another reading...what happened was i moved into my new address and had a pre-payment meter removed and replaced by a quarterly meter, i was told i was with southern for my gas and was paying with a payment card to them every 2weeks.
a couple of days ago i had a cheque through the post paying me back the money i had paid to them for my gas, when i called them up and asked them why they said i hadnt actually been switched over to there company but they are now switching me over so i have to pay a final bill to british gas which is who i was actually with...if any of that makes sense :)
so the meter reading is just what i have used from wen i moved in a month ago and next to the meter reading it says 293m3...i have no clue what any of it means and just need sum idea of how much my bill will be. sorry if i have made this confusing.

    It is a little confusing.

If your meter reading was 00130 when you moved in, and is now 00293 you have used about £70 in gas.
  • ok thank you for your help and sorry for any confusion :D
