We bought one of these for the ceilings, i bought some Dulux one coat matt but the results are rubbish , we've done the living room ceiling 3 times now and it still looks all patchy, do you think i can get my money back?

If it doesn't do what its supposed to do then yes. Where did you buy it from? If it was Wilko's etc take it back and see what they say. Perhaps take a pic of your ceiling as well to show them.
The shopping channel ad for that always makes me laugh, I think its the way the woman is covered in paint and huffing and puffing. Funny, Ive painted the whole house a dozen times the good old fashioned way and never looked like her
