Eligible for Alliance and Leicester overdraft?

Hi,

I opened an Alliance and Leicester Premier Direct current account a few months ago - they didn't let me have an overdraft at that time, though. I now have my wages paid into this account - is it more likely that they will now grant me an overdraft? I'm wanting a very small overdraft, max £500.

Any application is likely to be based on credit scoring. It may be worth giving them a ring, and asking them the liklihood of getting an overdraft prior o an application. Your wages going through will now help your application.

Dont forget to ask for a 0% on overdrafts for 12 months, because they offer that to new customers like your self.
