London Scottish & other door step lenders

I've had numerous loans from London Scottish Finance over the years and was wondering if it was possible to reclaim the PPI? I was unemployed each time and was told I had to make these payments to get the loan. I've tried searching the forums but ended up more confused so if someone could help that would be great.

I've also been a customer with Provident, Greenwoods and Shopacheck?

Thanks.

    Hello there & Welcome

Well as you were unemployed it would have been very unlikely that you would make a successful claim, so give it a go.

I do believe though these are not trading any more and it may be a fact that you will have to request a claim form from the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS) and make a claim this way.

    Contact them here:
    http://www.fscs.org.uk/contact-us/

If these are listed with the FSCS, then you should be okay to do this from these, and I believe these are listed with them as well.

Good luck, please keep us posted.
