Hi,

If I reduce my overdraft online from 750 to 0....will in trigger another credit search like some banks do?

Thanks

I think so, but can't be sure. I wanted to reduce my overdraft (not to 0), and they wanted to do a credit check, so I said leave it then, lol.

    Cheers, Des.

What a bizarre comment to make, some do a light search to check the identity for fraud prevention purposes. Normally this 'light search' doesn't show on your credit file. BTW, when you call into a bank, you are not speaking to a banker. It was the 'investment bankers' dealing in credit default swaps and dodgy investments etc that 'screwed the economy'.
    Best Regards

You can send a secure message to ask them to remove the overdraft.
    No credit search involved.
