I have the little kworld usb one and the supplied software is a bit pants but I have just found some free software called media portal which is much better. All these devices only really work with a roof aireal (sp)I think....0

Im not an expert but external boxes are not the best (there is a reason there cheeper than the rest) but I have found that if you place the box as far away from your pc as possible these devices work better. You definately need a propper roof top ariel to get the best from them.
Also like michaels has just mentioned Media portal is an exellent bit of software, turns your pc into a media center, and the best bit of all, its completely free.

Apparently this device does not have "full" bda drivers.
I was considering this device but it does not work with GBPVR (similiar free product to media portal)
However if you guys are telling me that this definately works with media portal that would do nicely. Does the remote also work with media portal?Cheers,
