do any of you guys have any creative ideas on fund raising? hopefully something that doesn't cost much?...
i'm the captain of our school's soccer club and we are planning on purchasing new equipment (additional balls and nets in particular). The ones we have are all worn out since soccer isn't exactly part of our curriculum in P.E. and the school isn't spending on additional eqiupment for it. so the team's trying to raise money for training.
thanks!

Try your County Community Foundation. Usually a good source of funding for small grants, especially benefitting the sporting activities of young people.

Where are you based?0 -
Could you get a local business to support you in return for sponsorship on your team's shirts or trophy? Our local Curry House supports local schools sports teams. Supermarkets like to be seem to community-minded too.
Does your school have a fete where you could have a stall specifically to raise money? Organise a Shoot a Goal game with donated prizes (supermarket vouchers are easiest to get and can buy a lot of prizes)
Could someone organise a sweepstake on the World Cup at their workplace? or in the staff room? £2 to pick a team, the winner gets a tenner, the rest boosts your funds.
Good luckfran-o0 -
