Balance Transfer Advice Please!!!

in Credit cards
I have a £3900 on one credit card - Mastercard that I want to transfer. I have a fair credit profile but that is only due to a number of credit card searches that I've made in the last few months trying in vain to transfer the balance to a better rate!!
The rest of the profile is full of Green 0's and satisfactory accounts no CCJ's defaults or missed payments.
Can any MSE's put me in the right direction in succeding a balance transfer???
Thank You.

Who have you applied to and been declined by?
Have any said why you were declined? How many searches have you made?
What APR are you paying on the current card? what is the limit on the current card?
Do you have other debts/ open credit accounts?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
If the card isn't with them, try your own bank as they will know your financial position better than anyone else. They might even be able to say yes/no in principal without any search, so at least it would be one less search.
In general you need a very good rating to get a balance transfer card and doing mulitple searches won't look great.
With a fair credit rating, you will struggle to get a card and the limit is likely to be lower than you need.
Finally don't forget you can't transfer between same companies card, I.E. a MBNA card to another MBNA card.0
