blood lily

No, I've never grown them myself - but I've admired them from afar in gardens in the south east of England. (I'm in the North West). They really are spectacular and gorgeous.
On a general note, I've lost ALL my ordinary lilies - the ones in the ground that have been going strong for at least 10 years and the more fancy ones that I potted up, like you, in March. I had a little poke around the pots to see if there was anything going on and the plants had gone soggy and rotten. I'm surprised because I kept them in a dryish place and protected them from the worst of the weather. But that's gardening for you!
I would love to get some tips about growing (and keeping!) blood lilies so I hope someone comes along with some pointers for us both.
