Looking to get a return from Newport Gwent to London.

Hi there,
http://www.send-data.net/firstscotrail/prebooking.asp?mn=50678662DA8E
This should give you 50% off all train fares with a total over £40 (don't worry about the fact that it is scotrail - I have used a similar promo to get reduced tickets before anywhere in the uk). Test it out but be fast, I think it runs out tomorrow.0 -
That code seems to have expired now unfortunately0

Are you travelling with a child? If so get a Family pass.No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
I have found it cheaper to book a ticket in the train station rather than online. In the station I could get a ticket for £5, online there was no option for £5 cheapest was £17 - this was one way and with One railway. You can get return tickets - just book two single journeys.0

This site has cheap train tickets to London. However I don't see Newport Gwent on the list. Possibly there's another major city you could get it from?

There are lots of tips here, such as splitting your journey, i.e travelling to your nearest city on a seperate ticket and getting a 'deal ticket' for the remainder of the journey.
Have a look and try reading it back to front to see the updated tips.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
