Pop Art Software....

Hi

I'm not sure if this is the best placxe for me to post this but would like some software that I can use to transform pictures into Pop Art.

I have seen a few free programs like Photoshop but it seems to distort the quality meaning that if I try to print it out - it becomes blurry!

Any help would be brilliant.

Surely photoshop would do it if you keep the same resolution you started with and change the colour saturation levels? I'm surprised it loses resolution by the time you have finished perhaps you resized it?

I use "Pop art studio" but you have to pay.

The Posterize function in Open Office works well, and that's free.

One possible cause of the problem is if your source photo has poor contrast. If so, you will lose a lot of detail when you posterize it.
