I have a Binatone CARRERA A350 satnav, (rarely used), and was wondering if I could use the satnav car charger to power/charge the Motorola W377 mobile phone as I do not have a car charger for the phone, or will the satnav car charger blow the phone battery?
Phone mains charger;-
Output 5.0v 550mA
Satnav car charger;-
Output 5.0v 1.0A max

Yes, provided the plug is compatible it should be fine - it looks to be standard USB voltage.
The fact that the satnav charger can provide more current should not matter - the phone will only take what it needs.0 -

Is that definitive?:D, (plug fits snugly), I was/am worried that if the satnav charger is providing nearly twice the current it may blow the battery!
Will give it a go, I assume at worst I would only blow the battery and not the phone?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
