a few week ago there was an offer for a free family rail card, for 2 months. Now i applied for it, i think it was via daily mail or something, but i still have not recieved the rail card, via the post as it was outlined in that application. This was the offer

Free Family Railcard for 2mths, then 50%-off code
Gives 1/3 off adult & 60% off kids' train fares, when up to 4 adults & 4 kids travel together
No-strings 2mth trial, then a code to get a year's card for £13 (usually £26). See the Deals List: Cheap Trains & Coaches

Vixmony: I did the same thing & still haven't received my railcard. Your post has given me some hope that they just haven't been sent out yet. I'll ask around a bit more on the forums I post on & will post again here if I hear anything. I wasn't bothered about the 2 month free railcard as I already have a card running until August, but I really want that 50% off code.

Have heard that a lot of people got their card on Thursday, so there's hope for us still that it's just a delay with the post. Fingers crossed that ours turn up ...

Mine came too - it had been mis-delivered to my neighbours' house & they've been away for a few days. They called round with it this morning.

    I love a happy ending... :)

Vixmony - yes you need to have a child with you & it's very strictly enforced. I saw someone stopped on a train because she didn't have her child with her - she'd taken her child to stay with family & travelled back on her own - she had to pay full single fare for the return journey.
