Hi all

I have a lovely mock orange in my garden, it's got loads of buds and has put on a lot of growth in the last week or so.

Can I take cuttings from it, and if so how do I go about that?

TIA :D

What has worked for me, is cut off a branch, put it in a pot of compost and water well and hope for the best. Had 3 plants go ok this way.
    Kind Regards

Found this out from my 80 year old neighbour as liked my mums bush and wanted in garden and he stuck a cut off in the mud and then said wait for it to root, and funny enough it did. So been trying all sorts out.
    Kind Regards

Philadelphus (Mock Orange) can be propagated by softwood cuttings in summer (new growth from this year) or hardwood cuttings in autumn/winter.
