    Hi Again

Thanks for above info - have now signed up to the companies mentioned as a start - however given the post above I just wanted to check something - I have been looking at one job which is a visit to a petrol station where i have to buy £10 minimum fuel and job pays £x (less than fuel) - presume that I do not get money back for the fuel? - should only go then when I will actually need fuel or am i wrong? Are all jobs like this ie eating out etc or if not how do you know the ones where they will pay you for the food etc - is this listed on job description- thanks

Ps should say that i am trying to read previous postings to educate myself

Am I the only one sad enough to use MSing as an excuse for a weekend away? I've just emailed 3 companies to see if they'll extend dates on about- to -expire jobs so I can justify a trip to Argyle.

I see Oban jobs on esa, mce, react and tns. Are there any others? Or any on the way there from Glasgow I could be applying for?

Not at all, I was actually thinking about doing the same myself - and was looking at the Oban jobs, lol, my dive club are off up there in a couple of weeks and was thinking about joining them.

I have just been assigned my first work from aa. The briefing and questionaire look a bit 'sketchy' compared to some of the others. Is this normal?

Hi - Firstly, someone will be along to tell you to remove the fees from your post in a moment, so get ready to duck !!

Those petrol jobs do indeed pay less than it costs you, if I do one, I look at it as though I would have spent money on fuel anyway so am getting £x worth of fuel for a much reduced rate. Also, it can be quite useful for reducing your profits and therefore the amount of tax you'll pay at the end of the year.

Wow how do you fit it all in with the MSing and a little one - or do you just shop weekends and holidays?

My youngest is in year 5 now and no SATS at his school this year (school decided not to do them) and only 1 year before secondary school choice - they grow up so fast:eek:

    They do grow so fast!

I work 3 days a week now after having my little one. MS on the days I don't work. Doing it so I can pay off the debts that we've got and then hopefully when we have our next one I can be a stay at home mum. I can live in hope but this is what really motivates me.

I hope you also factor in the:
Time it takes you to accept the job and read the brief,
    Costs for printing and then
    Time for completing the Q's

Also, it can be quite useful for reducing your profits and therefore the amount of tax you'll pay at the end of the year.

These can be a "loss leader" with regards to tax but are still a very poor rate of pay.

There are better jobs out there, don't jump at the first ones:cool:

Hi there, thats not an option, as I can't get to a 'login' page! I can only find a link to the application page, and this does not give you an option to log in... hence my question as to whether anyone has a link to the login page, so I can try that ;)

    Thank you though :)
