I did one of these last year and although I didn't join at the time, I now have and it costs me £66 a month! So I can use the outdoor pool and have to say in this weather it is heaven.

I would say that you have spoken to your other half and he had said that you can't afford it..you could say his or your job is unstable so you can't commit to anymore outgoings right now.

i will prob join next year once i have had a payrise and my current membership runs out. i loved the indoor pool as well. i looked into it few months back when i was deciding where to join but i forced the persn on the phone to tell me the price (despite them trying to 'deflect' it) but it was too much for me atm :(

I'm having trouble describing people who don't wear namebadges in supermarkets/sandwich shops, etc. I haven't had any complaints about my descriptions but my descriptions all seems to describe the same person. "Female, early 20's, long straight blonde hair, tied back in neat ponytail" "male, tall, slim, dark brown hair, 20's". For one of my reports there were 3 young blonde girls who served me. The things I could say to distinguish them I'm not allowed to say--"the Irish girl" "the girl wearing lots of make-up" "the girl wearing lots of fake tan (orange!)". I suppose I could say "tanned". I will say slim or petite if that applies but if a person isn't slim I don't mention size. I have another report to do now and I want to describe the guy who served me as "very good looking" but somehow I feel that's not ok to say either!

I did 3 shops for the same company one day. Every assistant that I spoke to in each shop had the same description, and worse still, the same name!!!

Quick query. Just did some egg shops but I've lost the receipt for the last one. Anyone had this with ESA before and know how they'll respond to this?

Quick question. Just done a Sports Shop for RE. Assistant behind the till said "I'm !!!!!! off with......" whilst talking to another colleague when I was being served. I have mentioned this in the report. Would giving them a 0 rating be OTT?

Probably, unless their whole attitude to you, plus selling technique sucked!

Thanks BLINDMAN. Good point. Service was average. Till assistant was not good at all. Plus I had 16 year old kids (could be younger) behind me in the queue. :naughty::naughty::naughty:

I had this a few rounds ago
I had the receipt and when I took back the crisps somehow in all the kerfuffle the receipt got left behind. I explained and listed what I bought and the price and they still paid me.
It probably depends if you are usually quite honest and careful with them.
    Good luck

Thanks. There was a parade due down the main street in a few minutes so I was rushing it a bit. May have left it in the shop or dropped it in the car park. Dont know. Have put it in the notes, will call them on Monday and see how it goes.
  • Similar question; I did an underground sandwich shop today and forgot to get a receipt - too buy noticing the fact that he had earphones in and used the same gloves for my sandwich, the till, and then the next persons sandwich....do you think RE will still pay up?

Also; did my first egg job today :) managed to convince myself that the sandwich was that bad, I still felt sick when I got back to the car!! Bizzare!!

    Thanks
