I've noticed a couple of jobs recently that are video assignments. I've not done these but am willing to give it a go. I assume you need to buy your own stuff, but how exactly do you do it? Do I need a handbag with a hole in the side? :)

No. Most are pinhole cameras, worn in a button/tie clip/brooch or similar.

Expect to pay between £300-£600 for it.

Regarding fees, one in particular that has shocked me recently is TNS - no longer paying a fee for the coffee jobs, disgraceful.

I agree. I have 'sacked' myself from them after receiving a warning email about receipts they haven't received but I've sent. I am sick of getting no reply from them when I have a query, which on a couple of occasions has meant I've had to cancel work, and then I've got a warning email!

However, when I sent an email and said in a polite manner "Please remove me from you list and put your jobs where the sun doesn't shine, as I am fed up with your inefficiency and attitude", they replied within the hour. Strange that isn't it!!

I agree. No win and no fee on that job.

I dont think they have paid a fee for these for a long time have they? Do they still pay mileage? I used to do them at the airport when we had area managers and I always negotiated a fee as they found them hard to book out and they knew I wouldn't do them without a fee. I just don't see the point of doing them otherwise. The questionnaire is very simple though.

Not at all. Just a few too many trouble-causers on this forum.

I disagree, I think the forum has been chugging along OK recently. Quite surprised really, as The Office appears to be down at the moment, and nobody from there has come on here on a wind up. (hope I haven't spoken too soon!)

The one I did back in August didn't have a fee. I took it without realising and as it was my first I didn't want to cancel.

I've stopped working for them. Only ever did 3 jobs and it really wasn't worth the hassle of the work packs, logging in at the right time etc plus no fee! They also refused to pay me for not spending 20 minutes in a small supermarket. I'd walked around the place 5 times before going through the checkout and they were too quick there!!

I don't work for them either now. Not since they dropped mileage. I live in a rural area so the fee alone is often not enough to cover fuel, unless I am going there anyway. I can't believe they didn't pay you for the job, were you far out with the time?

Ah, that will explain why I saw some released jobs in our area yesterday then! I assumed someone had not opened the links to them and that's why they were there!

I think I was 3 minutes short. There was someone else on here who was 1 minute short and they got the same email.

Argh, my body is telling me that I'm stressed. My hair is falling out and my eczema is back. Not good :(
