I don't think GAP *do* urgent. I sent a query about a place that was shut and never got an answer.

Well, our experiences are clearly very different.

I've had RE trying to duck out of paying me on about half a dozen occasions, all but two of them they paid without me needing to send them an invoice in the mail, giving them a 7 day deadline.

They've asked for additional information that wasn't part of the original brief and questionnaire, then got cross when I refused unless they paid me the fee that I was requesting (I'm not unreasonable, this was after so so many issues with them, so just thought "well, why should I help them out for free?").

My account with them is still open, but I've done probably two jobs in the last six months and certainly won't be in a rush to do more for them unless it is a very attractive assignment with a fair fee.

Regarding the closed site, drop them an email.

If you tried to reschedule the assignment for today, but it's not showing as being for today, and you can only do it today, I would (and have, previously) call them. Others will post tales of how you'll be instantly sacked etc, but some would say you'd be sacked for not doing the job anyway, so what do you have to lose?

The number that I use is +613 98673477. Use a UK dial-through number though, which you can find elsewhere on MSE.

did you have to send off copies of the contract to edigital to become a member? are they any good? i havent got round to doing that yet

also, when i registered for TNS they said to click "forgotten password" and it would send me an email with my password in. but this hasnt worked

I've got the same problem with a reschedule that won't accept. Options are showing in the drop down box, but won't confirm. Looks like a cancellation will be necessary, as I assume this is less sack-able than a missed shop!

I normally find that the money hits my account 5 days after being paid so I'm expecting it tomorrow (I bank with HBOS if that helps any?)

My diets going to pot this week. I have one pizza assignment tomorrow (payday you see!), an underground sandwich on Friday and a (new to RE??? either that I have just never seen them before) pub on Saturday. Got a couple drinks assignments between then too.

Oh well it means that me and the OH are getting a few wee treats this week .

Also picked up an RE clothes store, I really need to stop doing this as I never find anything under the reimbursment!!! Or anything over it that I wouldn't mind paying the extra for , Oh well maybe an Xmas pressie or something.

I'm with HSBC and it's pending for tomorrow. Still nothing from Bare though . I think I'm going to ring them.

Something weird happening with my bank, yesterday I had a payment that was exactly the same amount as RE are supposed to be sending, right down to the penny, but my wages weren't in. Today the amount has changed, they've put my employers name by it, but it's way down on what my wages should be :-/

So I don't know what happened with the amount that matched RE.
