Is anyone else still waiting for payment for cinema jobs (not First Tracking or React)? I'm rather angry atm.

Me, actually. I did a cinema and the following week an Icecream and havn't been paid for either. I'd forgotten all about it until you just said.

I've just managed to get a job with an MS company. It's my first.

I have to go to a nearby supermarket, assess various things and make a purchase. I get paid £X as "assessor fee" and £Y as "purchases". I must spend at least £Y amount. Looking at the very first post, under the heading of Working out your profit/loss, I've worked out that my income is £Z, but with fuel costs and "purchases", I'm only up on the deal by 20p. :rotfl: My question is, do I have to report the profit of 20p to HMRC and then pay tax on that 20p, or will I have to report the income of £Z?

You will report the 20p. But you don't have to list everything like this. At the end of the year you addit all up. Some will have made you money, some may look like you have lost money, but it's the end overally profit you will need to send to the tax man (unless you are audited)

Ah, sorry, remembered that React do Cinema jobs too. Didn't mean them, but glad my post reminded you! :-)
