I'm doing a shopping channel competitors shop on GFK today. I have to order something from the "Beauty" department between £25 and £30, wait for it to be delivered, and return it 2 days later. But in the briefing notes it says not to order personal grooming products or cosmetics as they are non-returnable.

So what can I order? I'm thinking of a make-up bag type of thing (some of the Cath Kidston ones are quite pricey) - do you think this will be OK? I tried ringing GFK to ask, but just get a recorded message which is sooooo quiet I can't hear a word of what is being said.

Does the beauty section have cosmetic brushes or even hair brushes? Although I think if you went for a bag you'd be fine to send it back.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

Can you order a mirror from the beauty department. or a fragrance ., as they are returnable if they are sealed.

I've ordered a very expensive make up bag!! Hubby will have a fit if he sees it and how much it is - he'll be so relieved when I return it, LOL!! Especially since I ordered a piece of jewellery from the shopping channel earlier in the week as well!!!!

What about something that's leaking when you received it as the lid wasn't on properly. ;)

Also, I got a telling off for ringing GfK the other day as it appears the helpline should only be used for emergencys (apparently).

I got a telling off several months ago for not calling the helpline... Consistency anyone? :rotfl:

Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Iceland... They're all supermarkets, and do deliveries...

I wouldn't be surprised if there were others too...

Just picked up some more chicken jobs for the rest of the month, and walked past the shop mirror going to make a brew - realised that my skin is a mess at the moment and it's entirely likely its down to eating junk food in the guise of 'work' since when I had a couple of weeks without doing any I didn't have any spots, random red patches or as many blackheads as I do at the moment.

On the plus side I now have a 'day out' booked at a shopping centre I wouldnt usually visit....early chicken, a pizza competitor, then evening chicken. Just need to resist the urge to spend lots of money while I'm there as it looks like I might be moving in the next 4 weeks.
