Completed a supermarket online home delivery order earlier - been meaning to do it all week and then it came up as a MS job! :j
Get a fab amount off my shopping for a relatively easy questionnaire - gotta love GR!

I did it 2 months ago and it doesn't say you can't do the shop more than once within a period so I'm hoping it comes up every other month now! :T

Where does the time go?

Has anyone managed to do the cold smelly crisps covertly? Tried to do some today as a trial run and now have ten photographs of myself reflected in freezer doors.

Think these are going to have to be overt from now on which is a shame. No more tying them in with MSing the same store!

I did mine covertly (have to in this supermarket!) and I had to open all the doors. I sort of hid behind the door and took the photos but dreading my superstore tomorrow as I am sure there is aisles and aisles of the stuff!

Who's to say BARE won't win the contract back at some point?

    Advice still stands

Ah, thanks for that, hadn't seen that post.

I'm just being nosy & it would have been probably my only ever chance to go be a degenerate poker player in Vegas.

Probably should add I'm only not doing any more garages as I was comfortable doing them in Edinburgh but the ones in Glasgow are spread over a huge area and I don't know Glasgow at all. Plus I really would stand out as I'm not from round here as they say where I do come from...

Quick question for the cold and smelly crisp people - if you speak to a Manager before starting your CNS, do you mention the others too. I'm sure the brief said not to, but I can't locate it at the mo. Has anyone got "caught" doing the other stuff yet? Also, how do you upload the results? Thanks in advance.;)

It said they will amend the authorisation letter but at the moment once you are in the door then go for it!! I don't sign in for many of mine as it would take longer that the job does and only once have I been asked why I was taking photos by a MOS. I think we're to upload them in the same way as the original ones - and they were hoping they would be up this weekend

Took me 3.5 hours (door to door) to cover 5 stores today including travelling around 35 miles plus a petrol job in the middle. Fairly reasonable for the overall fee. Think it took about 10-15 mins to cover the extra bits in each store which was alright.

I found that one of the smaller stores took longer than the bigger ones because there were more people milling around getting in the way. Then the staff decided to do shelf stacking where I needed to go lol.

benefit of doing it overtly and signing in is that you can ask the staff to move out your way :p i always had to do that on my crisps before i started doing them first thing. so annoying as its not even like you can just carry on and go back to it as they wont be in order then.

did the crisps in my audit store this month (dont normally do that store) so that was good as was signed in anyway :)

i have never had a problem with audit or crisps, dont even bother showing the letter, just say 'i am here to take the monthly photos of crisps' and they just give me the book! the manager walked past me taking pictures the other morning (obv dont wear the stupid badge they give you) and he didnt even look twice! although i have had a manager ask me what i am doing when doing the audit before (i used to discourage them from getting him after i had to wait 15 minutes for him to come and he still didnt show up) grr

:jHi I'm new to mystery shopping and have been reading the post's on here and picking up lot's of tips.
I did my first jewellers for AA to-day but can't work out how to send my report, do I attach it to an e-mail ? There's nothing showing when I log into the website and havn't received any info from them.

Also did my first burger job and the floor show really did happen! lol
